Obama moved to Chicago in 1985 and became a community worker coordinating with local churches in charity activities. Though it was a low paying job, Obama always viewed it as the best training he ever had. He later defined it as a root seeking spiritual awakening.

Besides sending 17,000 teachers to less developed regions, Teach for America has gathered a great number of leaders of a deep sense of social responsibility. TFA was elected in 2007 by American college graduates the Most Desirable Employer.
Referring the experiences and concepts of Teach For America, Teach Future China sends excellent university graduates to rural schools in China for 2-year teaching with sustained training and support. Teach Future China gathers and rears talents who care to advance Chinese education.
